The date is positioned fairly high, closer to the rock than the denticles. There is a fairly long, curved, horizontal die line in the gown to the right of the shield, as shown in the
photo below. There is also a small gouge above the die line (long arrow).
In late die states, a rim break appears beneath the date.

Reverse D
The mintmark is slightly closer to the branch than the arrow.

This reverse frequently comes with die cracks (initially between the wing and beneath U), and even later a major break. Numerous other cracks appear around the reverse as well.
