Comments: This combination of obverse and reverse dies was first discovered at the 2013 ANA Convention. More on its discovery can be found in the Appendix Anecdotes. This is the first use of this obverse die and the second and final use of this reverse die.

Scarcity: This newly discovered die combination seems to be scarce, but its true rarity has yet to be determined. Since its discovery, a few additional examples have been found, but overall the die marriage represents less than 5% of the surviving 1875-CC coins. Rarity rating: R-4.
