The die has a minor recut 5, slightly doubled to the south.

Die gouges are found near star 2 and very weakly near star 1, and a diamond-shaped gouge is above Liberty’s foot.

Reverse B

The mintmark has the first C higher and nearly touches arrow feather, second C also higher and centered between the arrow and the leaf.

Comments: This is the third and final use of this obverse die. This is the first use of this reverse die.
Note: this die marriage was struck after recently-discovered BF-5.

Scarcity: This die pairing is by far the most common of all 1875-CC marriages and represents as much as 70-75% of all known 1875-CC examples. Rarity rating: R-1.
